DANNI BIG ROOM

Danni BigRoom, or Daniel Gunnarsson as his mother prefers is a 30 years young Dj from northern Iceland. He started his love affair  with music early on and in early teens vinyl became one of his true passions, during his teenage years he was searching and digging around various styles of dance music, from TripHop/Big beat to Drum ´n Bass, deep house to techno, after a few years molding his ears and finding his true style he landed with a bang in the Progressive house style og music and Dj-sets, this is before the millennium. His sets since then, have always been known for a very consistent build up and big tunes. He moved to the capital Reykjavik and started working in the only shop in Iceland specialising in dance music. This gave him the chance he always wanted, wich was do dig deep into the music that was being released and always having the freshest vinyl around....ahhh the good old days:) He is knows for his ear for a proper club-banger and his passion for the music. Although he is known for his progressive style and big tunage, hence the name BigRoom given to him by a fellow Dj in Iceland, he has other sides to him as well and every now and then slips into all different styles of dance music, his music collection covers the whole scale so to speak. Danni has played at many clubs and venues over Iceland and all the radio shows that offer dance music to their listeners. He was also one of three hosts of the Dance radio show called Flex, which was a leading force in bringing the best music out there to the public in Iceland.
In the last years Danni has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the industry visiting Iceland such as Nick Warren, Sander Kleinenberg, Dubfire, Dave Clark, Max Graham and  Chris Lake to name a few.
Danni is still going strong and devotes allot of his time searching out tunes. He recently relocated to Oslo Norway, and hopes to have the change to do his thing over there as well as other places where lovers of clubby, funky, progressive dance music come to gather and simply DANCE, cause that's what its all about isn't it?
